Between Gold and Violet

Beyond the winding road of Lindis Pass, the landscape opens into a quieter, more intimate view where the land itself becomes the subject. Rolling hills stretch into the distance, softened by muted grasses and the gentle rise of alpine terrain under a shifting sky. In the foreground, delicate bursts of purple wildflowers break through the dry earth, adding unexpected colour to an otherwise restrained palette of gold, green and yellow.

These small details transform the scene, revealing a different side of the pass — one defined not by travel or distance, but by texture, resilience and seasonal contrast. Between Gold and Violet captures this meeting of harsh alpine climate and fleeting natural beauty, where even the smallest blooms leave their mark on an expansive and enduring landscape.
