Fantail Serenade

With its tail feathers fully raised and its head tilted skyward, this Grey Fantail appears completely absorbed in its display. The composition captures a moment that feels almost performative, showcasing both the elegance and individuality found in native birdlife. Fine feather detail is beautifully contrasted against the simple timber backdrop, allowing the bird's posture and form to tell the story. There is a wonderful sense of confidence in the pose, as though the bird is completely unaware of the camera's presence and fully focused on its own purpose. Dance as if no one is watching.

The result is an image filled with charm, energy, and quiet humour. An engaging wildlife print that never fails to attract a second look.
